I am turning 44 very soon and 4 years ago, my wife (now ex) decided she didn't want to be a mother anymore despite having 3 kids between the ages of 7 and 3. Our relationship had also become extremely toxic which also fuelled her decision to leave.
So basically overnight, I became a single father of 3 kids under the age of 7.
I was out of my depth - I didn't cook, I was extremely overweight (technically obese as I found out), had very unhealthy eating habits and was on auto-pilot working at a job that didn't fulfil me.
In hindsight, that was the best thing that ever happened. This was truly a case of life not happening TO me, but FOR me.
This brought me to a very confronting and painful but powerful place - one that allowed me to find my authentic self and step into my power and purpose. Through this process, I stripped myself of who I was and rebuilt a better version of myself.
I am now 20kg lighter, much healthier person who works out daily and eats healthy. I've also built an unshakeable connection with my kids and gradually became the role model they deserve.
Like many before me, I've also found my purpose and passion to serve others using what I've learnt so my best decade ever will be about service and building a thriving coaching practice that will offer one-on-one coaching, events, workshops and much more so I can make a significant impact on people's live - changing the world, one person at a time.
Food for thought - I wonder what the world would be like today if that stranger did not drop off that Thanksgiving hamper at Tony Robbin's house that night..
Remember: It is in our imperfection that we are perfect to help others!
Much Love! 🙏❤️❤️
